Ok. This is a very philosophical question (not really). What would happen... let's all just think for a moment... if Elsa's powers were made of fire instead of ice?
To give you an idea of what it would be like, let's think of some scenes with Elsa having fire powers, but everyone reacting exactly the same way as in the movie...
Little Anna and Elsa run down the steps in the middle of the night, giggling. "Do the magic, do the magic!" Anna exclaims adorably. Elsa starts to conjure a flame the size of a candle's with her hands. "Woaahh!" says Anna. "Are you ready?" asks Elsa. Anna nods excitedly. "Here it goes!" Elsa throws the flames into the air, setting the ceiling on fire. "This is amazing!" Shouts Anna as flames rain down upon them. "Watch this," says Elsa, as she stomps her foot on the ground, turning the wood into solid volcanic rock. Anna skids on the dry lava, trying to find her balance. Elsa and Anna make a lavaman, which they name Olaf. The girls then slide down lava, as Anna squeals, "Ticklebumps!" Anna then runs and jumps into a pile of lava, and flings it everywhere. Anna jumps off the mound, and Elsa conjures a pile of volcanic rock to catch her. Anna jumps from pile to pile, going faster and faster. "Wait, slow down!" Elsa cries, but Anna continues to jump. Elsa suddenly slips and falls on the slippery volcanic floor just as Anna makes another jump. "Anna!" Elsa cries, and in a last desperate effort to save her, shoots her magic to catch Anna, but instead it hits Anna on the head. Anna's head bursts into flames. Suddenly, the girls' parents burst into the room to find the everything on fire, including Anna, who is unconscious. "What have you done?" gasped their father. A streak of hair on Anna's head turns dark red. "I know where we have to go," says the King.
"Please! It's our daughter. She's been hurt." says the King to a bunch of rocks, who magically transform into trolls. "Born with the powers or cursed?" asks the eldest troll, Grand Pabbie. "Born, and they're getting stronger," the King replied urgently. "You are lucky that it wasn't the heart. The head, though, can be persuaded. I suggest we remove all memories of magic. But, I leave the fun." said Grand Pabbie as he changed memories of building Olaf in the castle to building him in a volcano, the fire raining down into ash like Pompeii, and Anna being burned in the face to getting burned while cooking. Anna sighed contentedly. Grand Pabbie patted her gently on the head. "She will be okay," he proclaimed, satisfied. "But she won't remember I have powers?" Elsa asked, disappointed. "It's for the best," replied the King.
Many, many years later
Elsa had been crowned the Queen of Arendelle, and the ball is coming to a close.
"The party's over. Tell the guards to close the gates." says Elsa. "But why do you shut me out? Why do you shut everyone out? What are you so afraid of!?" asks Anna. "ENOUGH!" shouts Elsa, creating a wall of fire. "Sorcery," hisses the Duke of Weselton. Elsa runs out of the door, coming to the fjord. She panics, but then places her toe on the water, turning it in to hot magma. Elsa runs across the fjord, turning each spot her feet touch into volcanic rock.
Elsa sings a song about letting go (of what, no one knows), and builds a volcano to live in. She also builds Olaf once more, and turns Arendelle into a living h*ll, complete with inferno and fire demons. Then she builds a volcano for herself to live in, and changes her clothes so that they are flaming, and that there is little fire sparks in her hair.
Anna runs after Elsa on her horse. Suddenly, a great burst of lava scares the horse away and Anna is left struggling through the hot, barren, wasteland in pursuit of her sister. Suddenly, she slips down a hill and lands in a stream of hot lava. Anna shivers and climbs out, with her clothes on fire! "Cold, cold, cold, cold, cold" she says shivering as the fire burns her. "Oaken's Trading Post", she says as she reads the sign. "Ooh, and sauna!"
As Oaken explains his big summer blowout, Anna selects a warm winter outfit to wear in the burning lava. Suddenly, a heavily cloaked man steps into the trading post, covered in fire sparks. He asks Oaken for carrots, but accidentally insults him and is thrown out into the lava.
